This is an important list of Organizations & Websites for Families Grieving the loss of a love one particularly a loss of a child.   Hi My Name is Laura.  I have experienced the loss of a child (My Son Timothy ) and it was the worst experience I had ever gone through in my life.  It's not something I wish upon my worst enemy.  Let me tell you from experience .....

"YOU CAN'T DO THIS ALONE"

One thing that has helped me is connecting with other Parents who have gone through what I have.   It's a subject area that needs special attention.  It's not something you can just bring up in a normal setting and expect a half way decent reaction.  
One of the hardest things I've had to learn how to handle is when and when not to bring up my child.   The word's child and death in the same sentence is like water and electricity.   There have been many times when I've been in a group of friends/ & or relatives and the subject of their kids comes up.  I mention my story and all of a sudden the group scatter's and or quickly change's the subject.   It's not that they don't care.  It's the fact that it scares the hell out of them and makes them realize their vulnerabilities.  Another reason is the idea of not knowing what to say and how to comfort.   They think they are going to make you sad.   It's just they don't realize that not talking about your Angel will make it worse than talking about it.   Let them know that it's ok to talk about your Angel ...

Grieving Parent's need an outlet and folks to talk to who, "Get It," without fear of upsetting and or feeling guilty.
