What is a Congenital Heart Defect/s (CHD)?
When a person has a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD's) it means that they were BORN (hence congenital ) with something structurally different / wrong with their Heart. There are more than 35 different types of CHD's. 1 in 100 Babies ...... approximately 40,000 babies are born with 1 or more Congenital Heart Defect/s in the United States.
